Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various sources for analysis
- Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns, trends, and insights
- Develop and implement machine learning models for predictive analytics and decision support
- Evaluate model performance and refine algorithms to improve accuracy and efficiency
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear and compelling data visualizations and presentations
- Stay informed about advancements in data science techniques and tools, and proactively seek opportunities to apply them to projects
- Contribute to the development of data science best practices and methodologies within the organization
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
- Strong foundation in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data mining techniques
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, as well as SQL for data manipulation and analysis
- Experience with data visualization tools such as matplotlib, seaborn, or ggplot2
- Familiarity with machine learning libraries/frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Self-motivated and proactive with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
